Grace + gratitude

how blessed to end the old year with roses and to begin the new year with roses! pretty pink roses. the kind that take my breath away every time i look at them. blessed, indeed. and blessed to receive some wisdom of the year gone by. pondering the comings and goings of 2015 has been with me of late. i'm aware of the goings of three significant beloveds in my life, one very recently and unexpectedly. for some reason, death seems to be such a profound and powerful teacher. i'm listening! i'm learning! what is simmering away in this particular pot of wisdom at the moment, is the sense of Grace and gratitude. the Grace of God and the gratitude for that Grace. though we may not know the when and the how of our departure from our visit here on this beautiful planet, perhaps we can have an intention or prayer for our going. filled with Grace and gratitude is mine (at this moment). may i depart filled to the brim and overflowing with Grace and gratitude. and in the meantime, until it's my time to go, may i live in and by God's Grace and be truly grateful. (amen!)
