toodled on our bikes 

we did

  the 

beach

we sat on the bench of yellow roses

and visited 

our willow beauty

friends

who had provided

such welcome shade 

and elegance

for our summer picnic

at home 

in the sunshine

the next morning

the majestic copper beech

called 

such a profoundly

beautiful

teacher 

of

s  t  i  l  l  n  e  s  s

i picked

the very last 

rosebuds of 'beverly'

and of the whole garden

to enjoy the wild beauty

inside

this morning

we breakfasted with

this wise teacher

of pure joy 

so utterly

and profoundly 

b l e s s e d 

with our 

outer

and 

inner

surroundings

happy day 

of being blessed
