White Tara

White Tara, the "mother of liberation",

is known for her compassion, peace and gentleness.

She brings protection, long life, healing and peace.

While researching I discovered that today is the day

that Tibetan Buddhists meditate on her.

In sanskrit, the name Tara means "Star".

Some of you may enjoy this, I was given a profound synchronicity.

The oldest reference to Tara found in a thought-to-be 5000 year old saga in Finland,

speaks of a group known as Tar,

the Women of Wisdom.
