my heart has been so touched

by the elephants 

i'm meeting on instagram

that i was inspired 

to draw one

and then embroider it 

onto a square for the Project Somos quilt!

this is hot off the embroidery needle!

a young elephant living wildly & safely & happily

in a flower forest!

all 130 squares for the quilt

have been gathered

and now some final embellishments

are being added

soon the squares will be stitched together!

this is just one of many
